  • According to SLPRB, the additional results were announced due to a logical sequencing error that impacted the cut-off marks.

SLPRB clarified the reason behind the additional PET results, stating:
“A rectification process was carried out due to a logical sequencing error in the software that impacted the cut-off marks for Social and Special Categories in the Merit List for Constable (AB & UB) and Constable (Communication), as per the Advertisement dated 06-10-2023.”

The board further explained:
“After the necessary corrections were made, additional candidates have been found eligible and added to the list for the Written Test. The total number of shortlisted candidates now follows the 1:5 ratio of available eligible candidates.”
